All the way from Seattle...

We are thrilled that the extremely talented Katherine Webber will be joining us.  Her papier mache work is unique, whimsical and delightful. 

Katherine Webber

Katherine was born in Everett Washington and comes from an artistic family.  Her Austrian ancestors were fabric manufacturers in Vienna.  Her Danish great grandfather painted murals and faux finishes when he came to the United States.  Other relatives were fine artists and musicians.  Katherine's Irish great grandmother was a respected psychic who consulted a crystal ball, helped solve police crimes and even had a radio program in Seattle. 

Katherine studied at Cornish College of the Arts in Seattle.  During that time she worked for Neat and Tidy, a catalog company in New York creating dolls and woodcarvings.

Katherine restores antique statuary.  Her art has been show at Nordstrom and is currently in some local shops.  She has participated in nationally recognized art shows since 2005.
